Home Depot Innovation Lab Conversion
We transformed a dated multi-room space into a modern innovation lab for The Home Depot. The project included HVAC and plumbing upgrades, new flooring, custom lighting, and full interior finishes. From utility installations to final furnishings, we delivered a sleek, functional environment designed to foster creativity and collaboration.
DCHA Public Safety Substation Renovation
We led the comprehensive renovation of a residential unit to establish the first Public Safety Substation for the DC Housing Authority (DCHA). This high-impact project included full lead abatement, HVAC system replacement, and extensive interior upgrades—transforming the space into a secure, modern facility. Highlights included new doors and windows, a fully reconfigured bathroom layout, updated plumbing and electrical systems, installation of a ductless mini-split HVAC system, and a complete CCTV surveillance system. Every element was designed to support community safety, operational efficiency, and long-term durability.
Knox Hill Roof Replacement
We delivered a full-scale roof replacement at Knox Hill, upgrading over 26,000 square feet of roofing with a high-performance GAF TPO system designed for 30-year durability. The scope included multi-layer polyisocyanurate insulation, tapered systems for optimal drainage, and DensDeck underlayment to support future solar installations. We installed 80-mil TPO membrane, custom flashings, coping, retro-fit drains, and walkways—all while ensuring structural integrity and code compliance. The result: a modern, energy-efficient roofing system built to last.
Langston Terrace Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade
Following the failure of an antiquated switchgear, we led a full design-build power restoration project at the historic Langston Terrace in partnership with PEPCO and DCHA. The scope included installing new transformer pads, vaults, duct banks, switchgear, and 2500-amp service entrance equipment. We coordinated permitting, core drilling, utility locating, and equipment rigging—executing complex feeder installations, grounding, and final PEPCO connections. This modernized electrical system reestablished safe, reliable power to the community with future-ready infrastructure built to code and utility standards.
